MY THOUGHTS
Well my laptop has eating the last 3 attempts at posting this review. So... I'm going to try this again.
Ya'll have heard me sing the praises of Karen Booth before and guess what... this time will be no different So far I have absolutely adored everything of hers that I have read. "The CEO Daddy Next Door" has once again reeled me in hook, line and sinker.
There is more to Ashley than meets the eye, she isn't your typical tv show diva. She has this amazing apartment and just wants to make it into a home. However her neighbor, Marcus, Mr. sex on a stick is a real piece of work and just seems to be a real to have that stick up his ass most of the time LOL. Marcus and Ashley have some serious chemistry together, but they had a first date that came on tails of a bad break up, and Marcus decided she was bad news. However like Ashley, there is way more to Macus than anyone knows. All he wants is to make a good life for his baby girl.
Ashley's apartment renovations cause a small fire and ends up staying with Marcus and the baby. She sees a different side of Marcus and why he tends to be.... for lack of a better description.... a dick! Yep, I said it... but hell hot man with an accent, who cares..hahaha.
Both are falling hard, but seems like neither can get past their own worries and hang ups (I don't want to go into detail about these thing....LOL).
So ya'll get the idea of what is happening, I don't want to ruin the entire story for you.
I think one of my favorite part about reading Karen Booth books are that I can relate to the characters.... on some level at least... no no I am not married to a gazillionaire although THAT would be amazing. But she makes you feel what they are feeling like you are that character. This my friends is what reading is all about. I highly recommend reading this book, or any of Karen Booth's books for that matter. She is a Rock Star... a British Billionaire Rock Star...wait..not that was another review.. hahahaha.
Now comes the fun part... rating this bad boy.. or British boy.. whatever...hahaha... I going to give this one 4 stars. Wow... I have been really lucky to read some really great books...
