MY THOUGHTS
Let me start by saying I love Eve Langlais books, and this one is no exception. I tend to lean towards paranormal quite often, so it is no surprise that this book caught my attention.
Ysabel is a hard ass witch that burned at the stake because the man she loved was a serious douche. LOL Ok that might be harsh but there is just no other way to put it. Yea she was a witch but she was like Glenda... she was good. But his momma was not having it when she found out about them. She needed to have a good old fashioned ass whippin for sure..lol. So Ysabel uses the one spell she was taught but warned not to use. Well this was a good reason to use it. NOW she works for Lucifer, yuuupp... and she has become a hardass and does not trust men at all. Well can you blame her. Suddenly her "life" takes another turn. The people she damned with your vengance spell have escaped and she has to be the one to bring them back. Except she needs some help tracking them, so Lucifer, being the match maker he is, sets her up with Remy. Remy is a bad ass. Remy is a womanizer. Remy. Is. HOT! They have chemestry that both want to ignore. Well Remy doesn't want to ignore it... uhh.. womanizer....lol.... he wants tear he clothes off and show her how it's done. HAHAHA ... I mean come on he hasn't had a woman in like what 5 days??? LOL... Ysabel however has sworn off men in 500 years!!!! Whhaaa????
Now through all the adventures they go on trying to location and send the escapees back to hell, they both start to realize that they care for the other. Of course hell would freeze over before they admit it out loud. There is a lot of banter back an fourth between the two and I did find myself on more than one occasion talking to my tablet saying " enough of this talking and teasing, just do it already, hell Im sexually frustrated for both of you!" Then finally, FINALLY, they do the dirty. (whew, I thought I was going to spontaniously combust) Well they finally get all of the prisoners back to hell ( I dont want to give away everything) but there is still the mystery about how they got loose to begin with. If you want to know you will have to read the book yourself. hahaha
So I like this book, but damn I didn't think they were ever gonna take there clothes off...together... at the same time... and meet flesh to flesh... you understand right? LOL That is really my only complaint about the book. I am pretty sure it is part of a series but I haven't looked into it too much yet.
I'm going to give this one 3 stars because of the sexual frustration alone...LOL.. But seriously it definitely a good read. I wanted to keep reading it.
