NEW REVIEW!!! Immortal Matchmakers, Inc. (Immortal Matchmakers, Inc. #1) by Mimi Jean Pamfilof

26016162Seven days to go from lethal immortal assassin to Prince Charming? Not likely.

Demigod Andrus Gray may look like every woman’s dream, but when it comes to charm, he sees no point pretending: He has none and makes no apologies for it. Behaving nicely hasn’t made him the deadly assassin he is today. But is that really the reason he’s still single?

The Goddess Cimil—owner of Immortal Matchmakers, Inc.—thinks yes. So when she foresees a mate in Andrus’s near future, she’s determined to make the match happen. That means hiring aspiring actress Sadie Townsend to help the barbarian “act” a little more civilized.

But are seven days really enough? And why does the idea of seeing Sadie everyday excite him more than meeting his mate?

MY TAKE

First of all, I have to tell you that I love, love love shifter, vampire, werewolf EVERYTHING... LOL  But honestly I am  completely infatuated with Greek Gods/Goddesses, Mythilogical creatures, blah blah blah... YAASSSS  I want to read it..LOL...So when I saw this come across my feed on Facebook for Amazon... I had to have it!
Now let me tell you there are a couple twists and turns in this that will surprise you, but I must tell you that I really loved this!  Andrus is drool worthy (total badass hero material) even if he is stuck in the dark ages. Not to mention that he was thought he was in love with Helena, whhooooo is mated to Niccolo, and has a baby girl Maddy that Andrus was a "Manny" for while Niccolo was gone.  Yup, I said it, he was a Manny.  Then there is Sadie a hard working, struggling, smart mouth actress.  BUT OMG... Cimil the Goddess of the Underworld... BWAHAHAHAHA..  she is fucking hilarious!  Some of the things that she says, I couldn't help but laugh out loud, like a real belly laugh.  There are other great characters that I am hoping to read more about in some of the other  books.
If you like the "paranormal" type of read.. you should read this.  I can't wait to read the other books in the Immortal Matchmaker series now.

I would also like to throw out there to all of you, if you have any really great reads like Immortal Matchmakers, please comment below so that I can read it and let you know what I thought about it. But better yet maybe you can be the one to help me find my next read, and as always, if you have read this book let me know in the comments what you thought about it.
